Purple Rings by cynicmusic Purple Rings by cynicmusic
Created in UltraFractal 3 using Dennis Magar's Thingamajigs II coloring formula.

9 Layers were expertly blended to create the appearance of a reflective surface.

My Rating: Masterpiece in-training. Do you have any idea the ungodly amount of time this took to make? The least you could do in return is use it as your desktop-wallpaper.

From all of your works I like this one the best. Actually, this is the only one I really like..

Thanks! I well its not a drawing but it's not a "3d render" either....I picked all the colors and the reason it looks 3d is becuase I manually merged different layers that appeared to have different reflective characteristics.

Sure you could do somthing 80% as good in less than 10 minutes (that's how long it took to get the basic idea and shapes) but I spent a further 9 hours optimizing the colors. I was so pleased with the results I signed up for DA to show it off :)
